Welcome to Coin Boxes, a mobile game developed and published by Tahseen Labs ("we", "our", or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information when you use our mobile application (Package Name: com.tahseenlabs.coinboxes).

By downloading, installing, or playing Coin Boxes, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2 Information We Collect & Do Not Collect

Information We DO NOT Collect:

• No account registration, username password logins, or profile creation on remote servers.
• No access to personal identifiers (email addresses, phone numbers, or social media accounts).
• No camera, microphone audio, or biometric data.
• No financial information or credit card numbers (the base game is free to enjoy).

Information Collected Automatically:

When you run the game with an active internet connection, third-party analytics and advertising SDKs (such as Google Mobile Ads) may automatically collect certain non-personally identifiable diagnostic and technical device information, such as:

• Device model, manufacturer, and screen resolution.
• Operating system version (e.g., Android version).
• Google Advertising ID (GAID), which can be reset by you at any time in your device settings.
• General geographical region (country or city level derived from IP address, never exact GPS coordinates).
• Ad serving performance metrics (impressions, clicks, and load errors).

3 On-Device Local Data Storage

Coin Boxes saves your gameplay progress locally on your device using encrypted, sandboxed local storage (AsyncStorage). This local data includes:

• Player Customization: Chosen nicknames, selected avatars (e.g. human profiles or robot), favorite neon line colors, and box symbols.
• Game Configuration: Preferred board grid size (4x4 to 7x7), AI difficulty level (Easy, Medium, Hard), and chosen mode (Classic vs. Dice Mode).
• User Preferences: Audio toggle (sound effects and background music volume), haptic vibration feedback on/off, and motion-reduction settings.
• Session Statistics: Match counts, wins, losses, draws, and current match history.

Important: None of this gameplay data is transmitted to our private servers or third parties. It remains stored exclusively within the app’s private sandbox on your phone.

4 Third-Party Advertising (Google AdMob)

To support ongoing development and maintenance while keeping Coin Boxes free for players, the app integrates the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob).

Ad Experience & Frequency Protection:

• We respect player immersion: ads are never shown during active gameplay or while making moves.
• Interstitial ads are shown only at natural pauses between games (after completed matches) subject to a strict minimum interval counter.
• If an ad fails to load or no internet is available, gameplay proceeds smoothly without interruption.

Consent Management (GDPR & UK):

We implement the official Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) SDK. Players in the European Economic Area (EEA) and the UK are presented with a consent banner allowing them to choose between personalized ads, non-personalized ads, or to manage privacy preferences. You can re-open these choices at any time from the in-game Settings screen.

5 Device Permissions Policy

Coin Boxes is engineered with a strict principle of least privilege. The app does not request or require sensitive Android permissions. In fact, our application configuration explicitly blocks the following permissions from ever being requested:

• RECORD_AUDIO — Blocked (No microphone access)
• MODIFY_AUDIO_SETTINGS — Blocked
• READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE — Blocked (No access to user photos or documents)
• WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE — Blocked
• SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW — Blocked (No overlay permissions)

6 Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

Coin Boxes is a casual, family-friendly board game suitable for all ages. Protecting children's privacy is of utmost importance to Tahseen Labs.

• We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13 (or under 16 where required by local law).
• No personal chat rooms, public user-generated content, or social sharing of personal data exists within the game.
• If a parent or guardian becomes aware that their child has provided us with any personal data without appropriate consent, please contact us immediately, and we will take prompt steps to delete such information.

7 Data Security & Retention

Because all gameplay records, scores, and preferences reside locally on your device, your data is protected by the operating system’s sandbox security model.

How to Delete Your Data:
You can permanently wipe all stored game data, statistics, and preferences at any time by going to your Android device's Settings → Apps → Coin Boxes → Storage → Clear Data / Clear Storage, or simply by uninstalling the application.

8 User Privacy Rights (GDPR & CCPA/CPRA)

Depending on your jurisdiction, you have certain rights regarding data processed by third-party ad networks:

• Right to Opt-Out of Personalized Advertising: You can reset or delete your Android Advertising ID at any time in Settings → Google → Ads.
• Right to Adjust Consent: Players in the EEA/UK can update their ad consent preferences directly within the in-game Settings menu.
• Right to Play Completely Offline: If you turn off Wi-Fi and mobile data or enable Airplane mode, the game operates 100% offline with zero network communications.

We may periodically update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices, app features, or relevant legal and regulatory obligations.
